In the studio this week, it’s direct to the Balearics with Southampton Airport and TUI

With summer just around the corner, Glow has gone BIG for the glorious Balearics. We love designing anything holiday related and working with Southampton Airport means we get to dream and plan our next break while we work too – can’t be bad hey 😉.

We have been designing large billboards for the airport to promote direct flights with TUI to Ibiza, Mallorca and Menorca. We think there is always a special fondness for the Balearics. Perhaps it’s that they are only just over 2 hours away, or that there is something for everyone but for us it’s the easiness of flying from our local airport. And just look what is on offer when you land …

… There’s beautiful Ibiza. Although it may be most famous for its nightlife, Ibiza has quaint old towns, tranquil beaches, sandy coves and pine-clad hills. And if it’s activity you’re after, there is scuba diving, horse-riding, fishing, sailing and golf all to hand. It’s a destination for all ages.

Ibiza TUI SOU

Mallorca, the sunshine city and capital of the Balearics, is a great destination for a city break. It’s hip, cosmopolitan and buzzing. Pair that with beautiful beaches, beautiful people, art and architecture and it’s a heady island mix.

Menorca TUI SOU

Also sitting proudly is magnificent Menorca. As one of the quieter Balearic Islands, it’s a popular family destination. There are more than 40 unspoilt beaches, pristine coves, magnificent architecture and gorgeous harbours. Menorca has also encouraged sustainable tourism for years and pine trees fringe the coast and beaches featuring fine sand through to rocky, turquoise bays.

Majorca

That’s it, I’m sold. Palma for the weekend anyone?

Southampton Airport is a regional airport owned by AGS Airports Ltd. It serves around 40 direct European destinations with great onward connections to the world.
