In The Studio This Week: Aquila Christmas Gifts, Cards and Calendar

In the Studio this week, it’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas as clients have been distributing their Glow-designed Christmas gifts, cards and calendars.

Our long-standing client, Aquila Nuclear Engineering Ltd, asked Glow to suggest some Christmas Gifts to be handed to their guests at the Nuclear Industry Annual Dinner held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London on Thursday 5 December.

Christmas Gifts

As sponsors of the dinner, Aquila had two tables of guests and asked Glow to help provide them with a pocket-sized gift on the evening. They opted for gift-boxed, engraved stainless-steel pens, complete with Aquila-branded ribbon.  We’re really pleased with how high-end this gift looks, and the black ribbon with the Aquila logo printed in gold sets it all off.

Calendar and Cards

Glow has designed and printed the Aquila desk calendar for many years, which is sent to clients and used in the offices by Aquila employees. The desk calendar features images of Aquila projects, equipment, and even a photo of the Aquila Leadership Team this year.  There’s certainly some impressive equipment and kit included, and if you want to read more about this, you can head to Aquila’s website to check out its case studies (also Glow-designed).

Aquila’s Christmas card features a fun design of an eagle* wearing a Santas hat. It’s great to see a bit of humour on a corporate Christmas card.

In addition to the design, print and supply, Glow also organised the mailing of all cards and calendars to Aquila’s clients.

Nuclear Industry Annual Dinner

The Annual Dinner is the premier event for the nuclear industry in the UK, bringing together key players from across the industry, political scene and academia.

The dinner follows on from the NIA’s Nuclear 2019 conference and exhibition which takes place earlier in the day and so offers the chance to relax and meet friends and colleagues after an interesting and insightful day of presentations and events.

*Did you know that ‘Aquila’ is latin for ‘Eagle’?
