In the Studio This Week: Local Trade Show Postcard

In the studio this week we’ve been promoting the Local Trade Show 2020 for Business South.

We’re all for promoting local businesses, and as food fans, this was right up our street! Business South required a promotional postcard to encourage not only producers and suppliers to exhibit, but also buyers and chefs from hospitality and retail to attend and sample the wide variety of food and drink on offer.

The Local Trade Show provides the opportunity to meet up to 250 local and national hospitality industry buyers and chefs. The event is free to attend for buyers and the first 100 registrations will receive a FREE goody bag filled with lovely foodie things.

With a lot of information to pack into an A6 flyer, the Glow designers needed to consider how to best utilise the limited space for maximum impact. This was achieved with a brightly coloured full-bleed image and key information positioned on the front of the design to deliver the message quickly.

Paired with a digital invite, it goes to show that a campaign should cover a variety of mediums for most impact, no matter how small. This postcard will be given to potential exhibitors and buyers, as well as being handed out in promotional packs. Check out our blog explaining why we think print is here to stay.

Having attended the event earlier this year, Lisa Lavis thoroughly enjoyed sampling all the local delicacies and would recommend a visit to the 2020 show held at the Ageas Bowl on the 24thJanuary.
